The main ingredients both pregnant and breastfeeding ladies should avoid are Vitamin A and its derivatives (Retinol, retinoic acid etc), BHAs and a lot of the nasties we don’t use like parabens and phthalates!

Carrot seed oil may cause uterine contractions, and possibly miscarriage.  Best not to use if breastfeeding.

Ahhh! Because it’s natural, in the process of making the shea butter, sometimes parts of it cool faster than the rest, creating that grainy feeling. As you continue to rub the cream into your hands or feet, the grains will dissolve.
